From: www.abeautifulmess.com Whoever invented soup was a genius. I hope they somehow monetized the whole idea for themselves because they deserve it.  Do you know what soup is? It's regular food, cooked until soft, then blended up (sometimes super smooth and sometimes left chunky). That's it. They took good food and blended it up. Made it slurp-able. You can transport it in a thermos. It's food they serve you as a course before other food at a restaurant.  The whole thing is baffling really. And I am totally on board with it. I l-o-v-e soup. I am a bit partial to broccoli cheddar soup. I don't know if I would go so far as to say it's my favorite, but it's definitely up there. This is broccoli cheddar soup but with a bit of a twist. It's got dumplings/biscuits baked into it. So it's kind of a soup, pot pie hybrid thing. And if you don't like the idea of bread baked into your soup... dude. What's wrong? 31 DAY CHALLENGE: INSPIRED BY A PATTERN

Marble image source:  rockstella.ca Today's inspiration came from out of the blue. I was browsing Etsy for some pattern inspiration as I was in the mood for something graphic and/or geometric, when all of a sudden I just thought it would be cool to do some marble effect nail art.  I couldn't be happier with the outcome - I think my nails really could pass for solid marble and considering it's only my second time using the  water spotted technique , I think I did a pretty swell job! I was going for 'veiny' rather than 'spotted' but I've found that using a hair spray that shoots out of the bottle pretty fast (although not aerosol) will make your dots spread further, even break apart, and look more like a marble effect. 1. I used two coats of  Barry M  White   as my base colour. 2. Once that was dry, I shielded the skin around my nails with tape. 3. To create the marble effect, I used  Sally Hansen  Dorien Grey ...

        ADD TO FAVOURITES Paris Fashion Week has started, and we begin the task of publishing a plethora of street style-reports from the French capital. Today, we share the most interesting images of the first two days... And so on to the final leg of fashion month, we arrive  from Milan  to Paris, the city of lights and luxury fashion, for the longest of the four main fashion weeks – nine days worth.  Somehow we find ourselves already two down, having scoured the streets outside Balenciaga, Dries Van Noten and Rochas – and look forward to the busy schedule that awaits us for the next seven days.
